What we did

We created the "PPP Scout" app for the iPhone since time continues to get compressed for pre-production. We realized that once you have the GPS coordinates for your locations; you can easily download maps, weather forecasts, sunrise and sunset times and compass headings.

Then other Producers and Location Scouts saw our system and asked to also use it for their clients.

So, we converted it to a ProductionLogin tool so it wouldn't be branded as PPP. Now it's called PL_scout and integrates with the online project management tool at www.productionlogin.com.
